Register Blount County Release Alerts

No alert is a promise of instant notice. Court processing, transport, and agency data updates can create lag. For an urgent custody or safety question, contact the reporting agency and use appropriate official help rather than waiting on a message.
Blount County Notification Layer
Blount County has no verified public named list for people released during the last 24 or 72 hours. Tennessee SAVIN/VINE is therefore the local prospective layer for a named-person custody change. It can capture an event after registration if the right agency participates and sends the update. That job is different from the aggregate “ReleasesLast24Hours” count on the BCSO dashboard, which reports a number but does not provide corresponding names.
The durable history comes from another source. BCSO directs Sheriff's records requests to GovTransfer. Ask for the booking/release sheet or custody-history entry and identify the person, approximate booking date, booking number if known, and requested release fields. The VINE event helps establish when an agency reported a change. The BCSO record is better evidence of the exact county exit and destination.
This division prevents a blank result from being overstated. VINE may lose a released record or may never have received a county feed. The formal release record can still exist. Likewise, a saved alert does not replace a later records request when the precise release type matters.
Blount County VINE Registry Differences
Tennessee's Sex Offender Registry is a separate TBI system. It covers people who have a legal registration duty. It is not a county jail roster, a VINE notification list, or a history of everyone released in Blount County. A person may have a valid BCSO or TDOC custody record and never belong in that registry. Conversely, a registry entry concerns a statutory registration duty and should not be restated as proof of a new booking or current confinement.
Use the registry only when that narrow status is relevant to confirming the correct person and the legal duty shown by the official record. Confirm Blount County VINE Releases
VINELink does not cover federal Bureau of Prisons custody. Use the BOP Inmate Locator for a person serving or completing a federal sentence.
